HOW YOUR CUSTOM SHIRT WORKS

Upload a clear photo of your dog when you place your order. We’ll use it to create a custom version of the dog featured in this design, keeping the overall artwork, layout and style consistent with the example shown.

Here’s what happens next:

  1. Upload your dog photo
    Choose a clear photo that shows your dog’s face, colouring and distinctive markings.
  2. We create your artwork
    We’ll adapt your dog into the illustrated style of this design.
  3. Review your proof
    We’ll email your custom proof, typically within 3 business days.
  4. Approve it for production
    Once you’re happy with the artwork and approve your proof, we’ll send your shirt into production.

After you approve your proof, production typically takes up to 7 days. Once your shirt ships, delivery within the USA typically takes 2–5 business days.
PROOFS & REVISIONS

We want you to be happy with your dog before we print it.

Your order includes reasonable revisions to your custom artwork at no additional charge. If something about your dog’s colouring, markings or appearance needs adjusting, reply to your proof email and let us know what you’d like changed.

Revisions are intended to refine the custom artwork based on the photo and design originally ordered. Requests to use a completely different dog, replace the original photo with a substantially different reference, change to another design or significantly rework the concept may require a new order.

If, after reasonable revisions, we’re unable to create artwork you’re comfortable approving, we may cancel the custom item and issue a refund rather than proceed with production.

Nothing is printed until you approve your proof.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Machine wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not bleach, and avoid ironing directly over the design.

How does the Comfort Colors® 1717 fit?

The Comfort Colors® 1717 has a relaxed, unisex fit that’s easy to wear without feeling oversized.

Choose your usual size for a comfortable everyday fit. If you’re between sizes or prefer a roomier look, consider sizing up.

What if I order the wrong size?

Because your custom shirt is made specifically for you, we can’t accept returns or exchanges for choosing the wrong size, choosing the wrong colour or changing your mind after production begins.

Please check the Size Guide before ordering. If you’re between sizes or prefer a looser fit, sizing up may be your best option.

If we send the wrong item, or your shirt arrives damaged or defective, we’ll make it right.
What makes Comfort Colors® different from a regular t-shirt?

Every When Dogs Fly design is printed on a Comfort Colors® 1717 heavyweight tee made from 6.1 oz, 100% ring-spun cotton.

The garment-dyeing process gives it the soft, broken-in feel and lived-in look Comfort Colors® is known for. It also has a relaxed fit and is preshrunk to help keep the fit consistent wash after wash.

In other words, it feels less like a brand-new promotional tee and more like a favourite shirt from the first wear.
Will the shirt color look exactly like it does on my screen?

It should be close, but slight variation is normal.

Comfort Colors® shirts are garment-dyed, which gives them their distinctive lived-in look and means there can be subtle differences from one shirt to another. Screens can also display colors a little differently.

Those small variations are part of the character of a garment-dyed Comfort Colors® tee.
When will my order arrive?

Custom artwork is typically prepared within 3 business days. We’ll email your proof for approval before production begins.

Once you approve your proof, your shirt is sent into production. Production typically takes up to 7 days. Once shipped, delivery within the United States usually takes another 2–5 business days.

We’ll email you a tracking number as soon as your order is on the way.
What if something is wrong with my order?

If your custom shirt arrives damaged, defective, incorrectly produced or materially different from the proof you approved, we’ll make it right.

Contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue. You can choose a replacement or a full refund, and you won’t need to send anything back unless we ask you to.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Not yet. We currently ship within the United States only, and we’re working on reaching more countries in the future.
